I’m running for Thurston County Clerk because our community deserves a court system that is truly open, accessible, and accountable to the people it serves.
The Clerk’s Office is often the public’s front door to our courts — a place where people come for help during some of the most important and difficult moments in their lives. That experience should be straightforward, welcoming, and centered on service.
Right now, too many people are encountering barriers when trying to access the Clerk’s Office. We need leadership that is focused not just on maintaining the system, but on improving it.
I’m committed to restoring in-person access, strengthening customer service, and ensuring the office operates with transparency, efficiency, and respect for every person who walks through the door.
This role isn’t about politics or insider connections — it’s about public trust. It’s about making sure our courts are accessible to everyone, and that the Clerk’s Office works the way it’s supposed to: in service to the community.
Thurston County deserves a Clerk who will open the doors, listen to the public, and lead with accountability. I’m ready to do that work.
